| Little Hill-Alina Lodge has an active Annual Giving program. We seek gifts to support operational needs and provide scholarships for students who cannot afford to come here or to stay as long as they need without supplemental funding. No student is asked to leave the Lodge because of inability to pay.
In addition, we are currently completing a $11,000,000 Capital Campaign to address urgent infrastructure issues and building needs including a new Women’s Center, a Women’s Halfway House, and a Chapel/ Meditation Center to be named in honor of the legendary Mrs. Geraldine O. Delaney. On the heels of this campaign, we will be seeking to protect our low-cost, long-term, life-saving mission by raising enough endowment and scholarship money to keep the Lodge in business as long as alcohol and drug addiction continue to ravage families throughout the world. We seek gifts from friends, alumni, and their families to support our continuing work in recovery. Every gift helps save a life!

| THE PROBLEM | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Addiction shatters lives of the wealthy, the poor, men and women, children, teens and adults of all ages. It devastates families, dividing them on issues of fault, responsibility, and treatment. It results in crime, disease, coma and death.
Here are just a few facts about the cost to society:
Equally costly, is the damage done on a personal level to the man or woman who exchanges productivity for a life of shame, deceit and even crime. The skills, talents, and abilities of the alcoholic and addict are lost to society. |

| THE SOLUTION | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Little Hill-Alina Lodge serves women and men suffering from alcohol and drug abuse, some with co-occurring disorders such as gambling and sex addictions, anorexia or bulimia. The Lodge specializes in treating the reluctant to recover, those who have completed rehab programs several times and failed to remain sober.
The secret to the Lodge’s success is "the tincture of time". Students stay until staff determines they are ready to leave. The Lodge is proud of its many success stories men and women in recovery who work as counselors, teachers, doctors, and lawyers. Some own multi-million dollar businesses. Most rebuild their families or start new ones. Their communities benefit from their many gifts, talents and skills. |

| MAKING YOUR GIFT DONATION | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| With your gift and those of other loyal supporters, the Lodge can continue to provide low-cost, long-term care. At the Lodge, each student stays as long as needed to provide the best chance of continuing recovery. To maintain this policy, we accept no medical insurance and receive no government grants. We depend on philanthropic support to protect our life-saving mission.
Please review the giving options below: The Kresge challenge a special opportunity In December, 2005 the Lodge was awarded a $300,000 challenge grant from the Kresge Foundation in Troy, Michigan. Annual Giving Program The Annual Giving Program helps underwrite our program including items listed below:
Campaign for the 21st Century A Recovery...The Lodge’s recently completed $4.3 million Recovery Phase of the campaign addressed many life-safety and environmental issues including fire suppression and monitoring systems and waste water treatment facilities. We also expanded dining and meeting areas, the men’s dorm, office spaces in Memory and Gratitude Halls, Rudolph Hall (the Stone House), and the Carriage House. These projects have helped the Lodge fully realize it’s 90-bed capacity with expanded licensure. ...and a Renaissance... The Renaissance Phase of our campaign includes three essential capital projects:
