Long-Term Addiction Treatment Program
Customized, Individual Treatment in New Jersey
In the long-term treatment program at Alina Lodge, we are proud to offer genuine solutions for alcoholism and chemical addiction. Time is often the critical factor for full rehabilitation, and so the length of each of our guests’ stays is based upon their progress in the treatment program. Alina Lodge offers the flexibility to stay even longer after your initial 28-day stay.
Highly Structured, Long-Term Treatment
At Alina Lodge, we have founded our practice on the idea that it takes time to:
- Heal the changes that addiction has made to brain chemistry and the nervous system
- Develop new mental habits and establish new routines
- Practice new life skills
- Heal family relationships
- Understand and implement the 12-step programs and principles
Our abstinence-based treatment model is dedicated to providing a comprehensive array of services. We know that time is often the critical factor for successful rehabilitation, and the length of stay is based upon individual progress in treatment. Our highly structured, long-term treatment model was developed to treat the chronic relapser.
At Alina Lodge, we also address additional individual needs for long-term addiction treatment. We develop individualized treatment plans encompassing dual-diagnosis analysis, which is explicitly aimed at individuals who are struggling with mental health issues in addition to their addiction. Common mental health issues accompanying addiction include:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- PTSD
By choosing long-term treatment, you spend time away from substance use. This period often has a way of separating out what is a psychiatric issue and what is a behavioral concern. Each individual will have a dedicated counselor for one-on-one therapy and be evaluated for specific group therapies.
The Alina Lodge Team
At Alina Lodge’s residential treatment center in New Jersey, we specialize in long-term care. Depending upon the individual needs of the individual guest, the program may last anywhere from 28 days to 18 months or even two years. A guest's journey usually begins with a medically supervised detoxification program, which takes place in one of the centers that make up our comprehensive network detox facilities. From there, you will move into our residential treatment to continue your recovery journey.
The clinical team at Alina Lodge always customizes treatment for each of our guests, but it will include a combination of approaches. These include but are not limited to:
- Cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Dialectical behavior therapy
- Trauma therapy
- Individual, group, and family therapy
- Medication management
- Dual-diagnosis treatment
- Aftercare planning and alumni care
During treatment, you will remain on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The increased structure provides you with constant access to members of your treatment team, which is especially beneficial if you have a severe addiction, have made multiple attempts at treatment, or comorbid conditions.
Since many people who battle addiction also have a co-occurring mental health disorder, our residential treatment program in New Jersey can provide specialized dual-diagnosis programs. When you have a co-occurring disorder like depression, anxiety, or PTSD, it’s necessary to treat both conditions simultaneously in order to recover fully.
